GA's physical play across scrimmage lines is impressive and maybe a concern.

Not saying Vols are not physical to just the way they mauled Auburn was impressive. AU may or may not be a good team this year but they have always been a physical team and UGA just destroyed them. Hope Pruitt and company can devise some great schemes to make that aggressive play backfire on them.

From what I recall, their O line was going to be a question mark anyways. I think Auburn had only one guy returning to their O line. They're probably still trying to get that unit together.

Good post and observation, as when an O or D line is superior, you must devise a game plan to work around that. Good coaches can do that. The best I ever saw, and I don't like the guy, is Spurrier. He took advantage of every soft spot on our team. Hated the SOB for doing so but, had to give him credit were it was due. Hoping Coach Pruitt and his henchmen can do the same. The right call playing can win us Saturdays game. Go Vols

As much as watching UT run screen plays makes my heart skip a beat, we better dial up our best ones along with some really interesting run and pass blitzes.

I think UT matches up well on both sides of the LOS. My worry is that JG isn't enough of a downfield threat to keep them from playing up against the run game. If UT cannot burn them when they try to man up and load the box... it is going to be a very difficult day. They'll smother all the short passes and run game. If I had to bet... UGA's plan will be just that simple. They'll try to take away UT's run game and short passing game and dare JG to hit throws over the top.

I think UT's front 7 matches up reasonably well. UT's secondary has to play better. Shamburger playing or not could be a big difference in this game.

We have an impressive and physical OL. I thing we match up well there, though uga is very good across the DL and LB.

I have significant concerns with their OL vs our front 7. My hope there is that uga looks big and strong but slow.

We shall see.

I’m just hoping we have an Aubrey Solomon sighting this week. Generating a consistent interior rush up the middle without having to bring elaborate blitzes will be so, so key in my opinion. If you think about it though I don’t really think we’ve showed a whole hell of a lot of blitzes to this point. May be a saving a few.

Our OLine, the “Tennessee Valley Authority” should be fine against UGA. That isn’t to say their Dline isn’t good, they may be the best in the SEC, but that’s the one area we actually match up well talent wise.

Our biggest concern is defense. Stetson Bennett will be playIng with way more confidence after a solid game against Auburn. We haven’t shown the LB play to consistently stop a very good running attack from Georgia. Our secondary is going to have to play the game of their lives to put us in a position to win. They are going to be on an island a lot.

For the first time in a while, I think we have the talent to put up some points on UGA. The trick is going to be stopping them. They are significantly more talented than UT right now. Honestly keeping this close will show huge progress, but we tend to win games we shouldn’t against Georgia, so hopefully we pull another one off on Saturday.
UGA does tend to quit when they get behind, so scoring early will be key to a victory.
It’s just nice to finally be playing one of our big 3 and not feeling we wouldn’t match up well with their second team. Pruitt has done a great job creating a team that fights through the whistle, believes in each other, and makes the most of their talent. We may not get the dawgs this weekend, but they are going to know they were in a fight.

People need to understand that Auburn’s Oline is terrible and their Dline is missing two nfl guys and performed significantly worse than Arkansas. We will hold up at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball and it will frustrate the hell out of the pups after a cakewalk last week. I think this game has the makings of an instant SEC classic

Auburn seemed to have a little success spreading wide with screen passes. I’m trying to remember who Tennessee did this to several years ago when they were outmatched and it worked and frustrated the opposing teams defense. I want to think it was a Florida or Alabama team.

We don't blitz much once we get up 2 scores in the 2nd half. I think we'll blitz a bunch Sat as I'd be surprised if we can get pressure with just 4.

How are they "significantly" better talent wise than Vols? Better maybe but they are not significantly better.
