hey emaingaytor. when repubs lost the congress and house, most dems ran on a conservative platform. they ran on controlling spending, lowering the deficit etc... they did not run on the anti-war platform.

only one guy that i know ran on the anti-war platform and he lost to joe liebberman, an idependent.

so please, pull you head out of your a$$ and pay attention. so yes, they acted like liberals when it came to spending and government growth. they were voted out.

take an economics class, also try looking up how oil india and china has been using from 2000-2008. the demand grew, but the output stayed the same. that will cause higher gas prices. simple supply and demand.

Bush tried to open up anwar and domestic drilling but you lib whacko blocked him and now we're paying for it.
