some of our current commits and recruits....specifically Jacob Warren TE out of Knoxville and QB Adrian Martinez....could mean absolutely nothing and be like the new Kiffin just trolling....but something to keep an eye on

Could be looking to steel some recruits to TCU.

I did see this morning that Patterson has been in contact with UT over the past several weeks. It's hard to believe since UT passed on him twice, but who knows.

Different administration. I wouldn't think any coach that UT has passed on in the past would hold that against them.

Patterson: I'm not interested since UT didn't think I was better than Jones.

Currie: I'm sorry about that...different idiots running the game last time. Here's $5.5MM.

Patterson: OK, I think I can move on from the past.

It could be he wants to see if they are gonna stick around becuz he's already committed to coming to coach at UT.

Why not? It costs nothing to follow someone, and you can bet the kids certainly notice it. I’m sure other coaches who think these kids could be of value to them will follow suit.

TCU to Patterson: we can also pay 5.5 million. Do you really want to deal with those idiots in Tennessee? Look how they treat their coaches.

I realize the excitement & celebrity status with Gruden would be enormous but the record of Patterson is legit! He's a proven winner.

Based on current college coaches with proven track records that I think would consider TN my preference would be.

Edit: I have no idea, just want a winner :)
