I was in Atlanta when Jon Higgins hit a shot from beyond half court to beat Georgia Tech at the buzzer. I can’t find video of it.

Gary Carter was a phenomenal athlete, when they played in the NCAA Tourney in Murfreesboro against ND he was a 6’2 freshman but tough as hell. I believe he had 13 rebounds in that game going up against Laimbeer, Woolridge and Tripuka.

Was really good in football too as I remember.

One of my friends from Scouts played basketball at Morristown East, and he remembered playing against Carter in a game.

”We knew he was going somewhere.”

I remember Dale Brown once threw a punch at Carlus Groves at didn’t even get a reprimand for it. Grossly over rated coach.

1992 Carlus had tormended Shaquille all night. Wild game.
