I always thought Garner was kinda squirrelly but we could sure put him to good use recruiting.... Considering what just blew out of town he's downright tame.....

A lot would depend on CRG's wife.... She really digs Athens..being close to Atlanta and all..... It's also home to her. Don't think that won't be a big factor.

Lightning doesn't always strike twice. My thinking is that the Vols need to capitalize on what they have now and the wisdom of letting Fulmer go. Its going to be difficult enough to manage who gets the credit if Dooley wins big next year. It doesn't look like the hit will be so bad with X leaving and the Vols could well have some emotional momentum.

It would be impressive and get him off to a great start with the 'save the recruiting class objective.'

If he comes, we're going to recruit lights out in Georgia and Virginia, imo. There's a lot of talent in those two states.

With Garner and Vince Dooley's son on staff, we might have a firmer grip on Georgia recruiting than UGA. :p

Good to hear... it would be even better if we knew Dooley is going after him. As we all know, top flight recruiters is critical to our success, and Garner fits the bill.

We seem to forget the circumstances surrounding his departure last time...I remembering him having some "O" is him...taking boys with him....he goes where the money is.

I for one would love to see the recruits that the team of Lance Thompson and Rodney Garner would bring. Man, that would be HUGE!!
