And things were looking bad in the rain against Troy for a quarter and a half. "Then Tebow stood at the fifty and spread his arms and the clouds seperated. Sun came down and illuminated the orange gator helmets. Tebow then led an offense that scorched the Trojans, scoring a point for everyone they had on the sidelines. When it was over only the bodies of the Trojans lay in the swamp. Tebow went to each of them and healed them because it was not yet their time. Then from the distance something was said...Tebow jumped in front of me and defended me from the words. Meyer 35:45-51

Is this the sequel to the movie 300?

And does the weather even matter? It couldnt have been more perfect than it was last Saturday against a lesser team and we still lost.

Now it is the newest chapter in the book of Meyer. It is a collection. Here is another exert from the book. "We stood at the Peach Bowl with our heads lowered. We knew this was the lowest point we could fallen to. As we looked out at the crowd, we saw their faces. The scorn and anguish was extremely noticable. However, the prophecy was written that a savior would come and carry us to the promised land. At this time I knew that my time was up. What once was so promising was no over. I stared as the swarming crowd of Gators came to take me away. I closed my eyes as to not see the carnage of my own demise." Zook 25:31-36

The hardest rain I've ever seen during a game was last year with UF and FSU. UF won 45-15.

'02....mother of god. I never thought (until Saturday) I'd ever be as mad at our QB as I was at Clausen that day. I was in the student section by the band--right in front of every...single...fumble.

I left. I've "somewhat" regretted it since...my thoughts on those who walk out of games before the game is over are not flattering but I literally was going to have an aneurysm if I stayed any longer. Its the only UT game I've EVER walked out on...but I couldn't take it...so I walked back to my house (lived in the Fort at the time) and proceeded to get sloppy drunk and play beer pong & Playstation with my roomates (who also left).

I was at that game. I was in the extra student section in the end zone. Sat right beside the tunnell. Soaked through and through. Watched the entire game and had to come home to my kid brother's best friend sitting in our house with his UF gear on. He started running his mouth the second I walked in. I was wet and mad so I proceeded to take him outside and throw him in our pool clothes and all. When he came up and yelled at me I said "now that you are soaking wet, maybe I can listen to you talk about how great the gators are." He left. My parents and brother weren't that mad at me. Haha

That is awesome! Like in Bad Santa when he tells the elf "I think I've reached a turning point in my life. I beat the crap out of some kids today." I don't think it would have been right in any other situation, but since the kid was a gator fan he deserved it.

A wet field won't help us at all! With JC at the helm, it will probably will cause us to have even more turnovers than usual. The last time we played them in the rain, in Ktown, the gators were winging it all over the field and the Vols played (yet another) dismal game: We ran the fullback a TON in that game. very exciting loss.

90 degrees is not good for the Vols' lack of depth. It does matter. D could play great in the first half and be gassed midway through the 3rd quarter.

It rains a lot down there this time of year---it will make tickets easy to get at great prices!! I'm looking to buy some tickets for $75 each or less---should be no problem with the thunderstorms!!!
