I wouldn't mind a good NASCAR game, but as a concept its very limited as compared to modern track racers.

iRacing has a pretty dang good Nascar series It's online only vs real people. They have yearly championships where the winner get $10K iirc. You pretty much have to be a hardcore sim racer with wheel and pedals to be competitive. Sadly it's expensive as heck. $12 a month(or $100 a year) plus you have to buy the cars and tracks. I hear the new console Nascar game isn't bad.

Dale Jr said he uses iracing to touch up on tracks he hasn't been to in a while because it's so realistic.
