If I'm away from Tennessee in a sports bar when they Vols are playing, I buy the bar a shot of Jack at the first Big Orange TD. It doesn't take too long for everyone to be singing Rocky Top along with me ... except for Gator fans, they don't do the shot or the song.

Two things I can think of. If I'm wearing a vols shirt and everything seems to be going wrong then I don't wear it the next game.

Depending on how or where I'm sitting I'll stay or move depending on how we're doing. Lol.

Vols- got to watch the game in my bedroom, we're 7-1 since I moved here in 2013. 1-6 when I watch in any other part of the house. Good thing I ungraded my TV from 32' to 55' last month.

Chiefs- I have to be wearing my Priest Holmes Jersey.

Royals- watch the games while sitting in my gamer chair. 21-0 during the two years that I've had it.

I like that one! Although last time I was at a bar watching a game it was USCe 2013, and the dawg fans had all just watched UGA lose to Vandy haha. Idk if they'd be doing much singing but they'd probably be glad to have the shot!

That was really funny actually. I was losing my mind after the catch and then the kick and everyone around me was either pissed or just really sad. Heard someone mutter, "at least someone got what they wanted today."

Sorry for the cool story

Always wear orange socks. My first UT game was in 1967, a victory. After the win against Tulane, I bought a pair of orange socks. From that point on, I've wore orange socks to every game for good luck. By the time I saw the Vols lose a home game, my personal gameday superstition was set. It wasn't until my 21st game that I saw my beloved Vols lose for the first time. Always had a special distaste for the barn.

I still wear the orange pants. Every game. Even if I'm just sitting at home watching the game. Also, I put my shoes on before I put the pants on. Just those pants though.

I don't drink before games. It brings extraordinary bad luck. Yes I am partially to blame for Florida last year.

I clean the TV Room and prepare Hot Wings (3 types), I wear my Tennessee stuff (Nike) all day, if we lose, I burn them and buy new stuff..........jk. Pretty much that is it.

When I was a kid, my dad and I had to watch the game on different TV's in the house. I had to watch it in my room on my 16'' tube and my dad had to watch it in the kitchen. In '97 against UF, we were driving, getting ready to tie the game, then my dad walked into my room, and Peyton throws an INT for a TD. I yelled at him for ruining the drive. In the Arkansas game that same year, I didn't think it would matter, since UT should've blown them out. In the 4th quarter, down 17-22, I finally went to my room and shut the door. UT scored a TD on the next drive.

Every game I've ever been to the vols lost. Granted I haven't been old enough and well off enough financially to start going until the recent down years.

I've been to 2008 UCLA, one of the Dooley LSU games where we got creamed at home, UNC bowl game, 2012 Florida and 2012 bama. I know it's all my fault right??? Well I'm going to the Oklahoma game (got tickets as a bday present), come find me and kick me in the baby maker if we lose.

My daughter got me an orange UT bucket hat, a la KMac, for Father's Day....I'll be starting a new tradition with it tomorrow.
