You're right, not nosebleeds per se, I've just always used that term to refer to the upper deck. Yes, you can see the entire field. Not a bad view at all. It's really steep up there though.

Better bring some bungie cords and strap myself in then, I plan on jumping around damn near the whole game (atleast the big plays, which should be fairly often).

If you're near the edge of the overhang you should be pleasantly surprised. Those generally are pretty good seats.
