He's a law school grad. You act as if UT is some excellent school. The program that I'll be going into at Oregon is rated the best in the country.

Then maybe Oregon is one of the few places where Duck can get in. Could be the real reason he wants to go there???

I don't know anything about UT lately, but here's a comparison between Oregon and a backwater school, the University of Georgia.

UGA
Percent of Applicants Admitted: 56%
Test Scores -- 25th / 75th Percentile
SAT Critical Reading: 560 / 660
SAT Math: 570 / 660
SAT Writing: 560 / 660

Oregon
Percent of Applicants Admitted: 87%
Test Scores -- 25th / 75th Percentile
SAT Critical Reading: 480 / 600
