I just want to win this game. It's the last home game before my son gets married, so I'd like to carry the happiness straight into the end of next week. (They don't need my help for anything but I'm still stressed for them lol)

We need this win. I already know Pruitt is going to have the boys fired up tonight. Don’t step in front of him at the vol walk. He may knock you out.

It’s pretty sad that both teams are so bad that the picks are that split. An indication of the depths to which we have fallen. Sad, but like Freak stated; Lee and Kirk picking against us is a positive sign!

Truly, brother, that doesn't make any sense.

"...both teams are so bad that the picks are split." Good or bad doesn't really have anything to do with split picks. That just means the teams are balanced against each other. We could be the #1 and #2 teams in the nation, and might get the same kind of split among analysts.

So really, no, it's not an indication of the "depths to which we have fallen." Not in any way.

No need to pull negativity into it. Unless that's just fun for you.

Go Vols!

Stop with the “how far we have fallen” crap. We fell 10 years ago and we are just starting to get back up. Go Vols🍻

i guess my point was that neither team is so good or so bad that there is a majority pick. I would rather have a majority UF or a majority UT pick to add some additional media focus on the game and if an upset occurred there would be some media attention.

So all was trying to state was in the past these are usually unanimous or majority picks and create some level of media buzz. Unfortunately it feels like a Vandy/Arky game so everyone is indifferent. Also I could be bitter because it will be the first UT/UF game I have missed since ‘04.

On the list of possible analyst group pick outcomes, here's how I'd rank them, most preferred to least:

1. Everyone picks the Vols;
2. Split picks.
3. Everyone picks the opponent.

Not because I care overly much about how the analysts feel, but because if they're all picking us, that probably means we're the better team and are actually more likely to win the game. Which is the main thing.

So unlike you, I guess, I would not "rather have a majority UF...pick" to "add media focus on the game." That doesn't seem like a good idea to me.

It may feel like a Vandy/Arky game to you, but that's probably not because the analysts split their picks. That's probably because you think both teams are bad. In other words, you brought that to the conversation; don't blame the analysts.

Go Vols!

Sitting here watching Missouri play Georgia and it seems pretty apparent to me that we not only need to beat florida... we need to handle them without a whole lot of trouble... :(
