I was at the game and didn’t understand some of the offsetting personnel fouls. It looked like Dayne Davis was frustrating the dlineman and the dlineman should have gotten the personal, they never showed what happened on the replay in the stadium.

I was also looking for video of the PI calls on Warren Burrel to compare against the 70yd td pass, but couldn’t find those. In the stadium the first looked to be a little picky but ok. The second looked like a bad call and then the no call on offensive PI on the TD. Just be consistent, either let them play or call the PI, but call it the same both ways.

The first one they called offsetting was the kind of call that seems to only happen to us. There was a hit by a Purdue player on one of our players who was trying to get up off the field after the play was over. There was no retaliation by anyone in orange. I guess the refs would probably say they wanted to send a message to both teams, because it was starting to get chippy. But it was really just another big fat gift to Purdue -- one of several, unfortunately.

Purdue players were CONSTANTLY hitting late, ripping arms and playing VERY aggressive. For the most part, Tennessee players allowed it to happen/looked more like they were scared & intimidated.

Watch the replay...ESPECIALLY this Dude

I would rather have our team sit at home than to attend another MCB.

That stadium and venue is trash. The only reason they pick UT is to guarantee a sell out.

Tennessee: 14 penalties for 128 yards
Purdue: 5 penalties for 61 yards

Probably has a lot more to do with that…

Not a fan of bashing refs because if you can't overcome a couple of Plays it's whatever. I did feel there were many baaaaaad calls. 1 PI was pretty spot on. We had 6? Most were trash. Also, you just can't end a game like that in OT with instant replay. It's criminal. That was the most exciting bowl game of this season. Reminded me of the rose bowl usc / Texas back and forth game. (Clearly not as much at stake) but it just feels a bit tarnished with that crap ending

What’s wrong with the stadium? I love Neyland, but those bleachers suck and you have no leg room at all. …. And the Jumbotron is on one end only. Nissan stadium has seats and two Jumbotrons

In spite of this, I agree ….. and I live just outside of Nashville. Let the MCB have SC and Northwestern and see how that works out for them. To hell with filling their stadium to get screwed in front of the home crowd.
