I just gotta ask. Does the Farmer's Almanac tell you that Thursday evenings have worse weather than Saturday afternoons and evenings, from September through November?

Because, if not, I fail to see how your comment fits in a thread about game time weather conditions. :)

Careful...now he'll say you don't know anything about football. :ermm:

Looks like a cold front is moving north to south through the Knoxville area right about now. Should have clearing conditions, moderate North wind and drier cooler air by kickoff.

Looks like thunderstorms between now and 6pm, clearing up after that. Should be ok as long as it doesn't tarry.

Weather Channel saying: cloudy, but the chance of rain in Knoxville is 15% or lower through the rest of the evening, until midnight and beyond.

Wind is out of the northwest right now...which is good, because Cross Mountain (due NW) has some capacity to "sweep" the rain out of the line heading for Neyland.

Think that's better than if the winds were out of the west.
