The defense cost Florida the game last year. The UF offense was surprisingly above average except for that third quarter collapse when UF couldn't get momentum back. But going into that game with a Purdue transfer making his first start at QB, most UF fans would have been thrilled with 28 points and most thought that would get a win.

Game was an anomaly for FL Defense. But I like our chances in a shoot out, whoever plays QB for Gators. Fingers crossed that our D will be vastly improved.

It's my understanding that Zaire is ineligible due to the Gators' transfer probation which is supposed to be 3 years. Hell, the SEC rules commitee might have changed the rule. Would be just like 'em....

Lots of excuses is all I see. Florida got their tails handed to them last year and it will happen again this year.
