It's parent's weekend so I'll be sitting with my Mom and Sister, but our ticket confirmation says TBD

The three years I have been at UT, parent's weekend is typically a night game, but I haven't heard anything.

I was going to say the same thing jcolli. Also, i believe this game is a good chance to be a PPV game, and it seems that the past two years, when we have had a PPV game in Neyland, they have been night games (SMU and ASU in 07 and NIU in 08).

I hope it's a night game, as well. I'd like to have the opportunity to experience your tailgating atmosphere, as well as the nightlife that Friday night. There's nothing worse than a noon kickoff for that!

I'm betting it is a 7:00 E. game. It will be on ppv, and maybe the only night game this season. Man I miss those Sept. night games---listening to John Ward---his magnificent self calling the games---"Long pass downfield is----COMPLETE!!" Such a special time to be a volunteer!

All signs point to a night game, there are several TV possibilities because there are games on CSS and FSN that have to be filled that week, both starting in the 7-ish window. PPV is also a possibility, and that would also start at 7.

I doubt it will be our only night game this season. I see Auburn, Georgia and South Carolina all being possible night games. I would say 2-3 night games this season.

Here is the history of times for early season PPV games. If Ohio is PPV, looks like the odds favor a 7pm start.

10/04/08 - 7pm (Northern Illinois)
09/08/07 - 7pm (Southern Miss)
09/22/07 - 7pm (Ark St)
09/09/06 - 7pm (Air Force)
09/23/06 - 4pm (Marshall)
09/25/04 - 7pm (La Tech)

Each SEC team has 1 ppv game this year---per the new ESPN deal. Since it is not WKU---it will be Ohio---at 7:00:shades:

Awesome - glad to hear it's at 7! Can't wait to meet the Vol fans. Go Ohio!

Oh, we're also bringing out band - the Marching 110. They've been consistently rated one of the top bands in the country, and are marching in the Rose Parade this year (assuming we won't be in a New Years bowl...lol). They're a dancing rock band and very entertaining, so keep your eye out for them.

Hopefully they aren't anything like the Wisconsin band. They are a "dancing" band and honestly they just make themselves look like idiots. If you enjoy watching the band, be sure to get in your seat for pregame because the Pride of the Southland Marching Band is, in my opinion, the best college marching band in the country. Tradition, good marching skills, entertaining, and can play well.

I might be a little biased, seeing as I was in the Pride, but I have seen many bands, and the only one I have seen that comes close is LSU's. Looking forward to seeing the Marching 110!

You'll enjoy it - MUCH better than Wisconsin. I've been to games on the road where they have played, including Va Tech and WVU, and the fans have been blown away and loved it. They even played a halftime show at a UVA game and it pumped the crowd up so much that Al Groh demanded they get a marching band (they only had a "pep" band at the time).

Here's one ranking site: Best College Marching Bands: Ranking the Top College Marching Bands

Looking forward to seeing the Tenn band.
