I read some of the South Carolina message boards after the game on Saturday and was surprised by the number of Gamecock fans who expressed a "hate" for Chris Lofton.

I know it's easy to dislike it when an opposing player has success against your team...but, I can't see how people could hate Lofton. He's a good kid, humble, respectful, appreciative, and hard-working. Even if he played for Florida, I don't think I could dislike him...I wouldn't cheer for him or his team, but I couldn't dislike the person he is.
seriously, nobody gives a rat's arse about how good of a person the enemy's most hyped player might be. AJ Ogilvy might be the best Australian on earth, but I don't like anything about him. Ditto all of the vast majority of our opponents' players. People can talk forever about what a great kid Tebow is and I still think he's an arrogant, bombastic pr1ck.

that actually doesn't look very good. any shot that starts with the forearm not parallel to the upper arm will go awry at times. both parts need to be perpindicular to the ground. all great shooters have that in common.

Maybe he can get it right tonight. It was just put on the front hoops page on Yahoo. Thought I'd capture it while it was there. That, and seeing him about to shoot gets me pumped. I'm ready for gametime.

Well, gotta roll for a bit and take wife out for steak. The Vols game on widescreen should add to the ambiance, of course. Should be back for the second half.

Go Vols!!!!!
