I do not want an SEC team to win it. I'm pissed that we've been to the championship series seven times without a title while bama and florida, our two biggest rivals, have both won it. Sux for us, frankly.

Any SEC team besides Bama, UF, & Auburn is my view on this. I know UF is already out so that's one less team to worry about. So, it's down to LSU for me.

Florida State commits a ton of errors and Georgia wins the first game. In the second game UCLA gets bombed by Auburn. The SEC takes the first two games of the World Series. Go SEC!

It's annoying--we took two of three from georgia and probably could have swept them. We run-ruled auburn twice. They are off to a strong start in the championship series and the Vols are watching TV.

Been around baseball and softball for 50 plus years and never seen an ending like the Awbarn and the buttsniffers softball game. Explanation given sounds correct to me but I never been involved in this situation.

I understand the runner going out of the baseline but I don't know what the other call was

The hitter touched first base she thought she was out and started back to the dugout, the runner on third scored however the hitter was physically touched by the first base coach back to first. He cannot touch any player until after the out is recorded. Since the runner scored before he did this she scored before the out was recorded.

Oklahoma might run rule Michigan tonight..UM hasn't recorded an out yet and its 3-0 in the 1st

Now that UF is LONG GONE and so is Bama, I'm okay with whatever team as a national champion. But I will root for an SEC team. :)

This highlights one of the flaws of the WCWS format. Michigan plays last night until about 10:00pm and then has to play again today at noon. FSU is the much more rested team. Still masterful performance by Burroughs.

Really surprised at Michigan's poor showing. They and OU are pretty evenly matched but losing to FSU just should not happen with the amount of talent they have.

As of now I don't see how anyone but OU wins the title.

Auburn to the championship series....LSU needs to work on some fielding in the offseason...this is a pathetic showing so far

However, it wasn't pitching that caused us to lose to Arizona. They had a good pitcher but Auburn hit her. I thought it was our lack of focus at the plate that hurt us. Also, those umps at the World Series are giving the pitchers some very odd strike zones. When the pitchers figure it out it makes them almost unhittable because the batters can't reach the ball because it is so far off the plate.

Clint Myers is just unbelievable. In his 8 seasons at AZ St, he won 2 NCs, reached 7 WCWS and 1 super regional. Now at Auburn, in just his third season, his Tigers are playing for a National Championship. 2 SECT championships, 2 WCWS so far. His players just sound so confident (bordering on arrogance) and sure of themselves much like Clint Myers. Myers is one smart, innovative/intelligent coach and a great teacher who has taken the "percentage softball" to another level. Wish I can say the same about the Weeklys. Sigh...
