Game Thread: 2023 Women's NCAA Tournament...Round of 16: Lady Vols v Va. Tech...Sat @ 6:30 ESPN2

Everybody on the team talks about wanting to win but shows very little effort in games like this.

Virginia Tech doing all the little things. Quality team and deserving of their seed despite what many will say. They have a nice strategy and have executed it really well all season long.
They play within themselves no doubt and they have the best player on floor in Amore she is outstanding point guard. In CHRIST Alone

The person that will suffer the most, if the LVs are unable to turn this game around, is Kellie. There were high hopes for the LVs after the LSU win. Everyone thought she had gotten the monkey off her back of not able to defeat a ranked team. Unfortunately, now that monkey is back.

It's a gorilla

Very simple we know our weaknesses at guard position but when Horston also plays this bad no chance folks. Let's see what happens rest of the way.

Yep, look up and down the lineup NOBODY has brought their A game , I mean no one. Usually even if Darbys playing bad she at least hit 1or 2 threes. It’s just a sub pat performance they’ve had some good looks just not cashing in.

Look at the shooting stats for Jackson, Horston and Hollingshed as well as location of misses/made and that is not the coach

Our half court offense should be called the stand and watch. We are molasses with moving and passing. It really is no offense at all and Harper is going to have to do better there. There is no identity on offense. We look bewildered on offense.

Not much coach can do with all these missed shots. Put Jordy back in take Tess out and press press press we have to generate easy points to get some rhythm.
They will kill us doing that in a wide open court. We can't stay in front of them in traffic in the half court. They should boat race us.
