Game suggestions? - PS4

I did! I was a gaming mag junkie back in the 90's. I had EGM, Gamepro, Diehard Gamefan, Playstation Magazine, Nintendo Power, Next Gen, etc.

Gamefan was always my favorite for articles and screenshots because they were somehow able to do the best screen captures of games. (It's funny how back then you didn't have YouTube that you could go on and watch game trailers. You had to rely on screen shots in magazines.) However their reviews were always inflated. EGM was hands down the best mag for reviews because they always seemed impartial and not written by a bunch of fanboys.

I liked it but Gamepro was really not a great magazine, at least when it came to critically reviewing games. They never would give a game a bad rating unless it was some game like Superman 64 that had legendary levels of suckiness.

I forgot the game but there was one that they gave a 4/5 (or whatever their scale was), and it was a game EGM and others was giving like 3/10. And it was a game that legit sucked.

EGM was my favorite of all. The first issue I remember was from early 1988, and it had a feature story about Double Dragon for the NES. That was when they still spelled out the whole name on the cover.
