I got my PS4 back in November and I"m bored of the games that I have. I currently have...

- Fallout 4
- NBA 2K16
- Black Ops III
- The Uncharted collection

I like shooters, sports games, RPG's, etc. I'm really wanting a good "medievalish" type game though. I'm thinking about getting The Witcher 3 and Shadow of Mordor. Any suggestions?

Both The Witcher 3 and Shadow of Mordor are great games.

If you're into sports games then I definitely recommend the MLB The Show series. It's really good. Beyond that I'd suggest the following...

Bloodborne
Metal Gear 5
The Witcher 3
Until Dawn
Driveclub
Wolfenstein
Far Cry 4
GTA V (if you didn't play it last gen)
Tomb Raider Definitive Edition (If you didn't play it last gen)

Easy fix. If you want to play the hardest, but most rewarding game you've every played, play Dark Souls 2 (you don't need to have played the first one) or Bloodborne (same game a DS2. Same makers, same gameplay, etc. just different world.)

If you want a good a good old fashioned RPG, go with Witcher 3. You won't be disappointed. Although to exercise caution, you don't necessarily have to have played the other Witchers, but at least read up on the story.

Any one of those 3 games I just mentioned is worth every penny.

This. Add me if you do. I'm always down to help people on Dark Souls or Bloodborne.

Isn't there a new DS coming out in this spring? I think I'm going to get The Witcher for sure and maybe get DS. I thought Bloodbourne and DS was the same game, or the same series?

New DS comes out in about a month.

Bloodborne and DS are the same series.

Yeah, Bloodborne is a spin off sort of. Same company, director, etc.

Before I go too deep, do you have an Xbox One? I only ask becaue I don't want to list any 3rd party multi-console games you may have already played.

As far as PS4 exclusive, I'd suggest:

The Order 1886 - short but fun
Infamous Second Son
Killzone Shadow Fall
Until Dawn

Not anymore I sold my X1 when I got my PS4. I wanted to try The Order, and I think it's pretty keep right now. Has anyone played Dying Light? It looks fun, but some say it gets repetitive?

Dying Light is fun. It's like an improved version of Dead Island. It's zombie kill in FPS with parkour. I guess it can seem repetitive but it really never felt that way to me, and I played through both the Dead Island games and those did feel repetitive. I have it on Xbox One though.

Just finished Firewatch, it's short but a fun little game not bad for 17.99 if you're a ps plus member.

I just preordered Dark Souls 3 Deluxe Editions on Xbox and PS4 🤘🏻
Anyone play the GTA Trilogy on Ps4 yet? It's 50% off at like $17.

Anyone else used to subscribe to Electronic Gaming Monthly? And EGM2? I believe there was also PlayStation Magazine, and one called Tips and Tricks. They were all the same company. I subscribed to all of them lol.

EGM was awesome. Sushi-X, the April Fool's Day jokes, the exclusives. It's hard to believe we used to have to wait a month for a magazine to find out about game releases.

Those were great magazines. I've got boxes full of them dating back to the 90s.

I did! I was a gaming mag junkie back in the 90's. I had EGM, Gamepro, Diehard Gamefan, Playstation Magazine, Nintendo Power, Next Gen, etc.

Gamefan was always my favorite for articles and screenshots because they were somehow able to do the best screen captures of games. (It's funny how back then you didn't have YouTube that you could go on and watch game trailers. You had to rely on screen shots in magazines.) However their reviews were always inflated. EGM was hands down the best mag for reviews because they always seemed impartial and not written by a bunch of fanboys.

PlayStation Magazine came with the free demo disc every month. I would still buy it today if it did that lol.
