With pretty much all of the major titles already released this year, I thought that I would go ahead and start this year's thread up for this. For me this year......

1. Mass Effect 2
2. Fallout: New Vegas
3. Call of Duty: Black Ops

Honorable Mention:
Red Dead Redemption
Bioshock II

I just got a 360.

Should I invest in Mass Effect 1&2?

I also saw FF13 for $20 used. Is the game good enough to invest so many hours into it?

the mass effect games are well worth the money IMO, especially now that the price has dropped considerably on the first one. can't really say about FF13, personally. i meant to play it eventually but never did get around to it.

I still need to play the undead nightmare DLC for Red Dead. I might invest some time into that this week.

I loved splinter cell conviction, but its the only splinter cell game I've ever played. I've been thinking of giving mass effect a try, I haven't played either of them. It would need to be pretty outstanding for me to overcome my HATE of all things sci-fi.
