Spurrier can't coach anymore. He has been there for 5 seasons, and yet he opens up this season putting 7 points up on the board, and only because State fumbled inside the 20 yard line. It's sad, it really is. Watch their games enough and you will see the same stupid mistakes over and over again-illegal procedures, false starts, not enough men on the line. At some point it stops being the players fault. Plus-being in his 5th year he has had enough time to see 2 great recruiting classes either come through and graduate, or come up to be seniors and juniors, and what has he done? 6-6 last year with a 6 turnover game against Iowa. Just be glad TN never went after him after he left Washington. And again-he quit that job while playing golf. He quit a job, yet people are suppossed to believe he is still a great coach. Find me one coach in the top 25 out there now that quit their last job. Some got fired, but none of them quit. Heck, Kiffin didn't even quit on the dumpster fire that is Oakland-he got fired by an owner who looks like a Sea Monster. Spurrier left $15 million on the table in Washington with an owner who would have paid anything for any player he wanted.
