Josh done went and gave Kirby a lot to think about for the next 10 days or so.
Heupel pays 3d chess and he just totally reset the board. All of the offseason scouting reports other teams had on UT just went I. The trashbin. Having Georgia early in the season works to our advantage this year I think. They have great uncertainty and little time to adjist.

The video is a little grainy when I enlarge it so it’s hard to tell, but it looks like there were a couple of defenders in the area when Aguilar was looking in that direction and as soon as he turned his head back toward the left the receiver became wide open.

Just my thoughts, not a criticism, JA first read was the trips right. Based on his presnap he was wanting a quick hitter to the outside slant. It wasn't open, he missed the complete bust on the corner route frankly because it was so unexpected. If he had seen it, he would have thrown it. He did not see it and went to his next progression to the left, which was also covered. He was able to extend the play and buy time until Star created an opportunity.

A sign of maturity. I think he saw it as the pocket broke and he had shifted into survival mode. Great play by Star in the end zone to move back toward the qb on the scramble.
