I don't like dobermans at all. I will admit that I don't really know the breed that well though. Do they make good pets(not guard dogs)?

My brother had three and they were great dogs...good with his kids too. They just aren't my favorite. I wouldn't trade my GSD for anything...

P.s. General is a fine looking dog!

I got a Jack Russell Terrier with the personality of an old bloodhound or something. Sleeps all day. Has moments of typical JR hyperactiveness, but mostly chill. Barks maybe once every six months.
