Both dunks were the same as they both had meaning behind it. I understand your point in comparing the difference in the situations but in my opinion they both had a little message to the other teamI don't mind the dunk.
That being said...different than the UK one. Not sure why UT quit playing when there was time left on the game clock and the shot clock was running. I don't know why in that situation UK was expected to let the time run out and give the ball to UT without shooting.
That end of game dunk that technically didn't count literally made my month. No quarter asked or given, love seeing our boys creating another Iconic "Screw you Kentucky moment"
After the way Kentucky ran their mouths and jawed at Tennessee (remember, early in this game one of UT's coaches had to walk a UK player away from barking at the Tennessee bench, for one), and how the media ran down Tennessee for being overrated in the wake of their loss in Lexington, I for one can understand Admiral taking aim at the rim.
I do get a bit of a chuckle from the Kentucky fans going all "ooooh, you shouldn't have done that, we'll really beat you now, that's super motivating, we're going to whip you in Nashville." Anyone in this rivalry needing that dunk to motivate themselves is late to the damn party.
Lol @ “UT fans are on our board because they don’t have one”. We’ve got the best fan site online.
I'd gladly forgo sex for a year to beat Alabama in footballI just hope that we face them again, in the SEC Tournament! Beating UK at BBall and Bama in football is almost better than sex. And sex is still mind blowing, for this 52 year old. I know, TMI. LOL. But, we still have two tough games ahead, and a grind in the SEC Tournament. Go Vols!
I see a lot of Kentucky fans on other sites complaining about it, saying we're classless, but they sure were cheering when Kentucky had a 99-40 lead and hit another bucket when the shot clock was off to make it 101-40.
