If for no other reason than you'll have an additional reason to crack open a cold one and watch some football tonight let's let the malaise go. It's a game where we should see several young players. If things go reslly well we may even see some backups. Even if it doesn't go well many of you will have more hand wringing material which seems popular.
With that said at least for the next few hours before kickoff let's start thinking about the good part of FB time in Tennessee.

Go Vols! Whip da Zip outta dem foose

Let everybody get some drinks in them. By gametime it should be a pretty good atmosphere. People are still frustrated obviously. Hope people show up at neyland tonight instead of staying home. Good chance to see some of the younger players do well. Hope we run the dang score up to 60 by running the ball late in the 3rd and the whole 4th qtr with Worley at the controls. Would like to see what Alden Hill can do. Is he really 6'2 240?

I get the frustrations just know that game time is game time and it's the time to let the rest go. I'm hoping to see the young recievers getting involved.

I'm a competitive person. I hate to lose. And I hate it when my team loses. Monday's at work are miserable after a loss cause we have several teams represented and at least one of them has a win. Always.

Having said that, I wake up every Saturday during football season knowing there is a chance for us to win. If we play, we have a chance to win. Some days the chances are better than others. But on any given game day, I wake up excited. Whether I'm headed to Neyland to watch my Vols, or planning junk food to watch an away game at home. I love Love LOVE Saturday mornings during football season.

The day that changes, and I don't wake up feeling that way anymore, will be a sad day for me.
