This is a really smart choice by ESPN. Wait, did I just compliment the Bristol Boys? Anyway, Candace is a UT NCAA Champion twice., two time Gold Medal Winner at the Olympics, 3 time WNBA Champion, 2 Time WNBA league MVP and just a great person and TV analyst. She is eloquent in her speech and yes, she does bleed orange. (VFL) Other than Pat Summitt, she is the most recognizable female associated with the University of Tennessee (w apologies to Nico) and damn excited to see her on Game Day. Go Vols - Go Candace!!

Candace did a good job…though I have to point out that Robert Meachem never played in an SEC Championship….

And the notes I'm reading say he played in all 13 games that season. So that would mean he DID play in an SEC Championship game. Just not in 2006 as Candace seemed to imply.

Anyway, I thought Candace did great. One of the best-informed guest pickers I've seen. And she's bright and lovely and likeable and all that, too. Plus I heard she's a pretty good athlete.

Thank you. I think she mixed it up a bit and was referring to the 2007 SEC Championship Game. (She specifically mentioned a fumble near the endzone leading to the loss).

I love Candace Parker! You couldn’t ask for a better representative for UT in my opinion. She is an amazing person.
