Yes he is..Born in Memphis.

He was born in a Memphis hospital but grew up in Charleston, Mississippi. I know this because I graduated high school in Charleston. He had a house built there my senior year and came by the high school to visit class rooms and talk with students. His mom never moved away from Charleston. Many people from that area drove to Memphis to give birth to their children, as it is only about an hour and a half drive.
