Gainesville Parking

I’m making the trip from East Tennessee to Gainesville this morning to cheer on our Vols! Anyone have any suggestions for parking that might be an easy exit tonight? Went to Gainesville in ‘17 and had a miserable time getting back to the interstate! Thanks in advance and GO VOLS!

I was there in 17 as well. I have no clue what to tell you. Except to say that the Swamp is the ugliest piece of concrete I have ever seen.

I admire your dedication but my suggestion would be Calhouns . You will be in much better company and you can hop right back on 40 afterwards. Not only will you still be in East TN but more importantly to your nose & sanity you WONT be in Gainesville .

pretty much all the houses west of the stadium on university avenue have paid parking...the further west the better and more likely to have a spot

streets...terraces and drives run in one direction
avenues places and blvds in the other

if u park west of the stadium the are side streets that u can work north on till you get to nw 39th ave.

from there u can continue west until u hit the interstate...will be far less traffic up that way
