Probably not. But some guys will go out of their way to take a shot at one. i.e Georgia-Auburn last year when all the OL went after Fairley.

agree on Lemonier - not a lot of true freshman defensive tackles make big impacts year 1 - we'll see

my bet is that defense will struggle and the offense will struggle to find an identity after losing newton - they have talent so its not like the cupboard is completely bare but i think they will struggle - especially early

Agreed, there is talent there, but Insider, you don't return a total of 7 starters on both sides of the ball, losing 35 guys from last year's roster and not see a big dropoff.

That second paragraph is dead on, it is why I think MSU will get them as the West Dawgs are their SEC opener. Early on they are going to be a team of first time starters and freshmen...not a recipe for success. I think they struggle this year, but they should be solid in '12 and could see big things in '13 if they don't lose too many guys early.

I have AU going 5-7, with a ceiling of 7-5. I don't expect it to happen, but IMO they could be as bad as 3-9 if these guys don't gel pretty quickly.
