Ga-vol Fans!

Lets see about getting a University of Tennessee on our Georgia license plates. One of my good friends works at tag office we need just 1,000 fans in georgia that wants it and signs up. So who wants to get a petition going? Lets do this VOL FANS!!

GA DMVS shows the cost of the UGA plate at $45 per year plus an initial manufacture charge of $25.

Should we get the Atlanta UTNAA chapter involved here?

How can our Association, Group, Institution or Organization have special license plates manufactured commemorating our Association, Group, Institution or Organization?

If your Association, Group, Institution or Organization would like to request the manufacture of a special license plate commemorating your Association, Group, Institution or Organization, you must first submit a "letter of intent" by mail to the Director of Motor Vehicle Division (MVD) at the address shown below. Only Georgia Associations, Groups, Institutions or Organizations are eligible for these license plates. Click here to view or to download and print a sample "letter of intent" showing the required information. The "Organization" shall mean the applicable Association, Group, Institution or Organization.

I'm pretty sure that there are University of Kentucky and Auburn tags here in Georgia, so there must be some avenue by which to get it done.

I'm actually working with a guy from the UTNAA, Atlanta chapter and the GA Dept of Revenue right now on a Georgia "Power T" license plate. Looks like it may happen for you GA Vols. Just hang on till the red tape clears.

The Atlanta UT Alumni Association contacted us after talking to the Georgia Dept of Revenue people. To get something like that started, I'd suggest going through Florida's UT National Alumni Association.

There was some talk on here a couple weeks ago about getting together a petition for a "Hobnail Boot" trophy for the UT-UGA game. Might the UTNAA help with that?
