Do we have an aversion to 4 and 5 star types or vice versa? Or are we controlling expenditures so we can roll the dice with a few select difference makers?

Potientalnto be a multi year contributor. Underrated pickup because this was a player that lower to mid tier programs was prioritizing. I would take him over Iverson Garcia who would overlap more with the DT we picked up from Mississippi

Nope, CRG found a 4-5 star talent at a bargain and went for it start to finish. Compare his hours of investment in this guy to the services and see what you find. It is July not February with fallbacks in play.

I hear you but how many times in recent years do you need to see an early evaluated 3 star end up a 4 star by singing day before you have a little faith in the staff?

We make the playoffs with essentially a rookie QB, yet, our staff does not know how to recruit well. That is the inference. It gets so tiring, especially when the football world knows we have an elite position coach for this guy.

That said, we have to recruit 4 and 5 stars if we do not have an elite position coach at some of the positions. Players matter, but so do coaches.
