Ok what makes more sense here:


BigOrangeTrain knows more than Nick Saban, Dabo Swinney, and all of the recruiting analysts when scouting QBs

Ty Simpson is better than Sam Horn

we're in a good position at QB. thing about qb is its a luxury, keep recruiting. helps recruit other positions such as, RB, WR which TN is loaded in 22.

Also, we need CB, Safety, LB, and DE desperately.

Lock this kid up and move on to the other positions of need. The QB room will be full with quality talent for years to come. Horn is athletic with a strong arm and all the throws. Pass first, mobile in the pocket, can run RPO with no problem. Taller and rangy versus Simpson who is quicker and a scrambler with a good arm on the run.

Good grief. One's the 5th ranked composite QB, one's the 6th. One's the 61st ranked national player, one's the 62nd. Horn's offer list is very impressive and gaining interest and offers. There's so much guesswork right now with shortened and canceled seasons.

On 247, not the composite.

And I agree bc I’ve said I don’t care who we get honestly. We’ve had good players and still lose to teams we out-recruit on a yearly basis by a wide margin. I just want wins.

But both also did play a season last year.

And only one of them has offers from the 3 teams that have won the last 6 national championships.

Now maybe Horn blows up and gets all the offers, idk. But right now the people who get paid millions of dollars to sign up kids to play for their team think Ty Simpson is a better QB.

Edit: I will add - nobody knows what any of them will do when playing in the bright lights. Not analysts, not HS coaches talking to college coaches, not Nick Saban or Dabo. It’s always a gamble.

It may not have anything to do with which guy is better in college. Recruiting isn't an exact science. And to the point of your other post, coaches pay attention to who other coaches are recruiting... especially Saban.

Both of these kids look good. Both have arms. Horn has better size. We will have to wait to see who translates to the next level better.

You are hilarious. I guess you think Simpson earned his fifth star. Remember a guy named Jarret Guarantano? Yeah Saban offered him as well. It funny how you won’t really offer any defense to your argument other than well Saban and Dabo.

Give us some data and stats that prove Simpson is a 5* and that he is better than Horn. I will wait. Lol.
