Like I’ve said in a post before , I like Horn more and his ranking isn’t done yet . Believe kid could become a 5* with a great SR year. Have followed this kid more , honestly I have only watched one clip from Ty and couldn’t find much I liked . But this Sam Horn has a cannon for a arm, and good vision . Maybe needs to be a little more accurate down field but that will come. Hope we land this kid . Walter Nolen is a bigger need right now.

I wanted Ty for the instant status and recruiting cred. IF we land Horn, I’m good with the football factor.

No QB controversy! Mizzou’s current QB (Connor Bazelak) made the 2020 SEC All-Freshman Team.
Horn can settle in, learn the system, play baseball, and will be ready when Bazelak leaves in two or three years.

Not one thing you listed here would be different than at Tennessee. Only issue is previous coaches didn’t recruit him, CJH did from his first day. Any reasonable person wouldn’t hold that against the new coach, especially when he grew up that teams fan.

But this might be an example of something Pruitt never dealt with at Bama Ga and FSU. They weren't in a rebuilding position that lost players when a more desired offer showed up late. Contingency plans weren't needed Pruitt was never involved in a college level rebuild. In hindsight, I see that as a bigger deal than we thought 3 years ago.

MO coach is a dork and he lost to Pruitt.

I thought Ty was UT’s 1st choice!
He may in time develop a good relationship with the new staff.
Did you skip over, “No QB controversy!”?

Tennessee baseball is better

Can sit and learn under Bailey/Salter
