'21 GA OLB Smael Mondon (georgia commit)

Was the video that iSmooth guy on Twitter was talking about the Marley video? Or has his supposed commitment video still not been released yet? If it is the latter, you have to think Mondon makes a lot of sense. It may be one of those commitment spots that never sees the light of day because he changed his mind, but if I had to put money on who the video was for, my money is on Mondon.

Marley was the mystery guy if that’s what your asking. It’s been confirmed by the VQ guys

No, not talking about VQ's mystery guy. There is a videographer on twitter that does commitment videos. I think his twitter handle is iSmooth. He was hinting a few weeks ago that he shot another commitment video for the Vols. I didn't know if Marley's video commitment was done by this guy or if iSmooth's commitment video has still yet to be released.

I don't think Marley's video was shot by iSmooth. I think VQ had something to do with Marley's video.

Theismoooth video is a Georgia kid most likely.

It’s likely Mondon has told both us and UGA he’s coming and has shot a video for both. AV even said there’s no doubt he’s told both staffs he’s coming

Washington did it last year, even admitted it. said he told i think 3 programs he was committed at one point.

Hardy was committed to TN for months supposedly

McOllough said he was committted to TN for weeks before he did his video or announced.

so, silents do happen, and prospects do tell staffs what they want to hear...just like staffs tell prospects what they want to hear.

if there's any good news here, it at least seems that on some level the mutual interst is real and we're probably no where near close to being 'out of it' regardless of what anyone in UGA's camp says....

this is one to me that you just have to be willing to play the long game, and ride the ebbs and flows.....a month ago we had err'body "shook"...right now, UGA feeling pretty good about themselves.

it is what it is. peer recruiting, Nieds, Brumbaugh, pruitt, ansley....i'll take that.

Ah, come on, Jake, you know if we came up on the losing end before we will never ever win one. Wait, I think we have won a few battles before so we might just maybe win a few more.

several. and we've now won enough of them the past two years that a kid like Mondon can look at the roster that's being developed and put together and see himself being part of a winner....not necessarily taking a chance on being one.

and i think a lot of prospects have taken notice....that and i do think this branding thing is real. and our fanbase, like it or not, can make stuff happen when they want to, especially when it comes to supporting VFL's....hell we're voting a verbal commit in texas to some award....i don't even know what the hell it is...or who he's competing against...but he's coming here, the others aren't, so he gets the vote(s). :) and he hasn't played a freaking down here yet. lol.

anyway. i won't be surprised if he goes to UGA. i won't be surprised if comes here. i think that's where we are, and that's really not a bad place to be, all things considered.

Mondon and Mims are my 2 biggest wants. Not only bc they’re studs but also for the UGA reaction. Would be so, so, so, so, so sweet

The Georgia love could also be cause he’s smack dab stuck in the middle of a sea of red hell...He may love UT but for the sake of all the assaults and verbal bs etc he would receive that may be why it’s more a UGA/UT battle.The ramifications of him committing to us now for Georgia would be disastrous from a outside view.U imagine the kid would get blasted from the home state school friends.This way he keeps all his ppl happy,keeps the UGA door open then commits to the big orange in a few months and slams that door shut.Jmo tho

Marley's video was not done by iSmooth. He has hinted on numerous occasions of "more to come" for UT, at one point even said "will be a good month" w/ an orange emoji earlier this month. However, it's almost June.

Why? Just because I don't think we are getting this dude? That is just an honest opinion based on how this particular recruitment is going..we have seen this song and dance before when competing with UGA for recruits since Furby has been there.

I think being negative would be saying we should not even try...I am not saying that.
