'18 GA LB JJ Peterson (Tennessee signee)

I could sit and argue with you point for point, but what would it accomplish? Saying the young man should of had his academics in order before this recent drama is in no way a judgement. It's a statement of the responsibility he has for the children he helped bring into this world, He made decisions that had adult consequences. I'm glad he now has his affairs in order, and I hope he has a bright future, both in the classroom and on the field.

We obviously disagree on your original post but can agree that he’s on the right track right now and hopefully continues on his current path.

Great news! Get him ready in a hurry so he can get snaps vs one of the scrub teams. Probably not enough time with that's acclimation period for game 2 but maybe by game 3. Doubt they worry about the 4 game deal because he is type of talent you probably won't have 3 yrs from now anyway. I'd put this kid with rumph to start off at olb keep it simple Rush the QB then work him slowly into ILB

Glad the kid is going to get this opportunity. The Thornton Center will take care of him and I think CJP will too. He has a wonderful opportunity to change his path. Hope he takes it and hope all you morans don’t bash him like you have other players that wear the orange on the field when you are criticizing their play tomorrow.
Do I still have your permission to call you an idiot, idiot?

Last I will say. I actually want kids to succeed. I see too many that get thrown by the wayside and sometimes it’s their parents that cause it with the lack of emphasis on academics. Agree with being a business owner and helping other lives and community by providing jobs and wages to others around you is more worthwhile and a great goal instead of a D1 athlete. Hope JJ balls out and gets a degree and has a good long life. Hope he understands how fortunate he is and puts in the work on the field and in the classroom.

Just saw on here where someone was already comparing him to Ruben Foster and Roquan Smith. Let’s pump the brakes a little before comparing in to two generational talents at linebacker. Just be happy the 48th best player in the country gets to play here. Lord I hope all highly rated recruits don’t turn out that good or we are in big big trouble playing with 1 and having to play against 20-30 for our rivals just from last year. I just hope he can master the complexities of mlb in this system. You have to be an extremely smart instinctual player. Otherwise he just becomes an undersized speedy pass rusher.
