Clemson commit Dre Quinn was in town last weekend and the visit was several weeks in the making as coach Chop worked to get him to campus. Quinn is going back to Clemson this weekend as Dabo Sweeney adjusts to the ever changing landscape.

There is some talk that Quinn may visit Mississippi State next weekend since the family is from Mississippi. We will see if that happens.

Clemson’s struggles could spill into recruiting. The Tigers dropped their third game of the season to Syracuse, and now their first 2025 commitment may be in question. Four-star EDGE Dre Quinn visited Tennessee for the Georgia game, and the Vols have made flipping him a top priority. Communication between Quinn and Tennessee has ramped up in recent weeks, and sources indicate he would like to reach a final decision sooner rather than later on his commitment to the Tigers. Others are still calling, like Georgia Tech and Texas. This is one to watch closely.

Any smart kid is going to say the right things to the school they’re committed to until they’ve made the decision to decommit/flip.

LSU mods thought Keys was solid to them until he wasn’t. Our mods thought Sneed was going to stick until he didn’t.

Maybe he stays with Clemson but him popping up at the Georgia game tells me he has doubts about his commitment.

I think the writing was always on the wall but AP did say shortly before he flipped to UNC that he thought Sneed would stick.

Nobody really knows what’s going on inside the head of these kids.

If Quinn does decommit, the first person he tells isn’t going to be Clemson mods was my overall point.
