Heupel turned a walk on rb into a 1000 yard rusher, sure DGG would be a fantastic pickup, but the stud edge is more important if you had to chose between the two

He became elite I agree. But Heupel has shown he can have a great offense without truly elite RBs. A truly elite pass rusher would pay much more dividends in Heupels system. Think about it. Take last year. A truly elite pass rusher would have made our defense a lot better.

These services get player eval‘s wrong all the time, especially at a position as developmental as an exterior defensive lineman. I agree that the position is a premium, and that we need top talent at the edge, but I’m pretty confident DGG is a generational talent and I wouldn’t trade a surefire home run for anything but that. When I hear all the sites talking about Jacobs the way every site talked about to Jadavion Clowney, then I’ll be willing to revisit this proposition.
