Mike Ekeler, the Vols’ outside linebackers coach and special teams coordinator, and defensive line coach Rodney Garner joined Heupel in traveling to Rabun Gap, Ga., on Thursday to see Class of 2022 edge rusher Darren Agu coming off his official visit to Tennessee last weekend.

Agu, who has been committed to Vanderbilt since July, is set to return to Nashville, Tenn., this weekend for his official visit with the Commodores. But the Vols have put themselves in position to have a legitimate shot at stealing him away.
