'19 GA ATH Owen Pappoe (Auburn signee)

I agree on this. I just have a feeling UGA turns up the heat late like Quay and makes it have a heart attack
Understand your concern but this is a different situation. Staff has been recruiting OP now for over a year rather than a couple months with Quay. Other point is OP is signing early so less time for UGA to recruit OP.

Surprised this isn’t getting more reaction. Auburn not planning on visiting their highest rated commit and who’s rumored to be looking around? Writing is on the wall.

It’s noteworthy but until someone credible reports it from one of the actual recruiting sites I will press pause on the excitement.

Four Tennessee assistant coaches are scheduled to be at Grayson High School in Loganville, Ga., on Tuesday to meet with five-star Auburn linebacker commitment Owen Pappoe, five-star Vols offensive tackle commitment Wanya Morris and four-star Texas defensive back commitment Kenyatta Watson II.

Sources told GoVols247 that Vols defensive coordinator Kevin Sherrer, offensive line coach Will Friend, cornerbacks coach Terry Fair and Chris Rumph, Tennessee's co-defensive coordinator and outside linebackers coach, all are expected to make the trip to the Atlanta area Tuesday to visit with the three players as the Vols continue to battle for Pappoe and Watson.

The Vols sent four coaches to Grayson (Ga.) High today, seeing 5-star OL commit Wanya Morris and 5-star MLB target Owen Pappoe (Auburn commit) and 4-star DB Kenyatta Watson (Texas).

Interestingly, Kevin Sherrer, Terry Fair and Chris Rumph actually spent most of their time with Watson, per intel, as Tennessee tries to put the full-court press on the 6-3 corner. The Vols remain in very good shape to flip Pappoe, who will take in OV here in the coming weeks.
