The only way you can really tell is by testing it and no I don't mean smoking it.

Here's one example, Laundry detergent. If for some reason you don't trust it, take one of the buds put it in a glass of water and shake it up, if it's laced with detergent, you will see traces of suds.

Let’s suppose you know what “normal buds” look like. If the weed is too powdery, smells weird, moldy or like chemicals, tastes bitter or harsh, put that joint out and don’t smoke it.

Lastly, there is no appeal. Most don't take the time to check what they got, while at the same time, they don't care.

I’m grading him against other recruiters from the SEC and there just happens to be elite recruiters in the SEC. 13th overall would be great for a team in any conference besides the SEC where you have 4 other schools in the top 7. He has certainly pulled some talent, but UF recruits itself to a degree. When you compare his classes to Meyer’s and Muschamp’s, he falls short. I honestly don’t understand why you think this isn’t a fair assessment. Mullen has never had the reputation of being an elite recruiter. You’d also think UF would’ve been able to capitalize on some momentum from beating UGA and going to the SECC, but maybe covid prevented that from happening.

You keep cherry-picking that 13th ranking. Again, that’s a current number, it assumes they won’t have any additional commits, and even if it sticks, that’s the outlier. The class is much higher rated on Rivals and ESPN and it’s the outlier even on 247 compared to his previous two classes where UF was ranked 9th on that site. So my point remains, Mullen has had top 10 classes at UF, except possibly 2021 where one of the three major sites might have them outside the top 10. That’s not “mediocre.”

Another point, it now appears that Mullen may be strategically choosing to recruit the portal just as hard, if not harder than High School, and why wouldn’t he? Thomas Goldkamp has a nice article on this, Mullen started it at Miss State and has continued it at Florida, putting just as much stock in transfers as kids out of HS.

So I don’t think it’s fair to call him a “mediocre” recruiter when he’s landing consistent top 10 classes in additional to absolutely owning the portal. Portal guys have to be recruited too. Goldkamp made the point that Mullen is going after guys who are more mature and physically developed and accustomed to college life vs High School kids. I think he’s onto something. I’ve already said his use of the portal has been excellent. I also don’t think you understand what my point has been. I’m not saying Mullen’s a mediocre recruiter compared to Vandy. I’m saying it when you stack him up against other contender programs in the SEC, right now. Mullen has to get graded against Saban, Smart, Orgeron, and Fisher when it comes to recruiting since he’s in the SEC. While 13, the current class, would be great in any other conference, it’s good for fifth in the SEC. After seeing the way Meyer and Muschamp recruited it’s fair to say he could be landing better classes. Regardless, UF didn’t hire Mullen for his recruiting skills. They’re banking on his coaching being able to close the gap with UGA’s and LSU’s talent, and then Bama’s if UF makes the SECC.

This is probably a better conversation for a different forum at this point.

Guess who led the team in TDs on Missouri as a freshman...... yep you guessed it, their Te. I’m tired of seeing this statement.

I watched a game yesterday that Heupel even played Ace formation a lot, ( two Tes) and ran the ball successfully and utilized the Te in the middle of the field, because the team was prone to running a cover 2. Geez

I am as excited about this as anything. We have almost never taken advantage of drag routes and crossing routes with throws over the middle of the field.
So much open space that we never seem to utilize previously.

Read a story of a guy here in Tri Cities who made $100,000.00 in a week selling that crap..all cash. He opened three stores. Fortunately Feds got involved and seized all assets. A lot of people got hurt on that crap.

Its bad when a hospital has an entire wing devoted to overdoses of a certain drug.

I remember in middle school kids my age would smoke "spice" or "k2" since it was sold at the gas station and didn't have access to actual bud. It was literally killing kids around the country.
