I’m making my official call, AG is all VOL, that kind of chemistry between QB and receiver/TE Is too valuable to them both not to carry it to the college level.

Seriously. Was in a thread devoted to the raise. But I agree, if it were up to me, he'd be paid to the point most schools wouldn't even offer. You can't put a price on what he's doing for TN.

Agreed. Not our (fans) money. Only thing I pay the slightest attention to is the term length of the head coach's contract, and the payout UT would owe him if thing go south. I admit to being pissed seeing pictures of Butch smoking cigars with Bama while we're still paying that coaching fraud.. though again it's not my money.

Edit: Above is my only concern about overpaying a coach. But, I hope all of our good coaches are compensated well enough to keep from getting poached by other schools for lateral moves
