G10 Parking on Top Deck - what time?

I make it down from Indy once or twice a year...bought a G10 parking pass for this weekend. I was told the lot opens at 8am...is that correct? Any advice or suggestions as to what time one would need to arrive to ensure a top level spot?

You better get there early... If you are looking for corner stops that have extra room get there early..... G-10 will be rocking tomorrow...

I wondered if that was the case. I asked a few people and they mentioned that parking garage doesn't open until 8am. Is that for regular folks like myself?

I thought the huge donors were in the lot directly to the side of the stadium in between where the vol walk is and the band comes down the hill....not in that parking garge under the jumbotron?

I figured it would need to be early. I have no problem with that. I'm just driving down from Indy and no way I can get there today. Is there a line at 8am? Do we need to try and get there at like 6am? Early is no issue...I was just hoping it's first come first serve on Saturday...which would give us a fighting chance. If people can start parking there today...we're SOL.

The garage opens at 7 am, however the person letting in you will usually let you in early. We got in line at 6:15 for the Cinn game and they let us in around 6:35. The corner spots are the way to go, however that being said people usually have been tailgating in the exact same spots for years.

This is our first year in G-10.. There will be a bunch of tents in front of the parking garage that is being up up today or tonight.. You are not supposed to be able to park
until that morning.. First come first serve is what I have seen so far.. You will get a spot
just get there early.. The good spots go quick... Best of luck to you and safe travel!!!!

Thanks for the Heads-Up No wonder all the spots are gone when we got there for the Cinc game...

this is a huge help...thank you. I assume if you got there at 6:15am you got a spot on the top deck?

If you got there at 6:15am for Cincy....I would expect people will be getting their awfully early for this game?

Might have to keep things a little calm when we get to knoxville tonight if we're going to be getting up this early. Can't wait!

We got a top deck corner spot so we could set up our tent and have room for cornhole. I think you will be fine going at the same time even for the GA game, remember it is a later kickoff time.

I'm doing it again next weekend for LSU and will get there around the same time.

I hope to get there around 6:00... I think we all will get a good spot... We just gotta get there early

sounds good...thanks again. Topnotch03...I'll try to remember that in case I see you guys in one of the corners tearing it up! We won't have a huge group...this is actually all very last minute. Got tickets earlier in the (Z15) and literally just got the G10 pass this morning. But those of us there...I can assure you....will be ready to get rowdy.

You can get there as the gates open and get top deck. I was an hour late to Bama last year and still got a great top deck spot. G-10 is the she-it !

So how was your experience? I need some advice too- we're going to the GA ST game and parking in G10 the game is at 4 did you get their early like 6 am?
