First one was ok, but this one looks like its gonna be BA:

Pointless movie imo. If you can only get like 3 of the main cast back, don't even bother.

I think they wanted to distance themselves from the 1st movie as much as possible, without doing another cliched reboot. I actually liked the 1st one, but its not looked upon very favorably. Looks like Duke even bites it early on in this one too.

Should've brought back Scarlett IMO. Baroness too, but Sienna Miller didn't want to do a 2nd one.

So is the plot saying that most of the first team was killed off when the Government turned on G.I. Joe? If that's the case, that changes my opinion and I can roll with that.

When pay an extra dollar to see an over the top Wayans brother death scene where it takes 30 minutes or more for him to die slowly.

I thought the first one was better than Bayformers. Not great, but better than robots humping legs, Devastator's balls, and Tuturro's naked ass.

However, this one has very little to do with the first one. New director, new cast, new writers (Zombieland). Essentially a soft reboot. The only carryovers are the Snake Eyes/Stormshadow plot line, and Zartan as the President (both of which were the best parts of the first movie).

The first one was a let down to me. It was just an ok movie to me. I hope this one lives up to the G.I. Joe name plate. It would be awesome to have a great Joe movie. I grew up watching the Saturday morning cartoon.

the first one was a letdown, particularly the special effects, which weren't much better than an Asylum-produced SyFy Channel original movie.

it was, however, a much better movie than "Stealth"
