That's a stupid post.

Staying healthy is a real concern. He was no worse than #2 when healthy. He passed Shrout as a true Fr without knowing what he was doing. Without the injuries... he probably keeps the starting job.

Unfortunately some guys can't ever stay healthy. Hopefully that's not him. But he didn't "earn" 4th string by any stretch.

He's played with the consistency of a young player. Being injury prone is a bigger concern.

He would have been more sought after than JT.
Maybe he’s happy and his plan is an education and not the nfl. He’s on pace to finish his masters before his eligibility is done. But who really knows. Maybe he changes his mind and leaves lasted. Then again there’s more to life than attaching yourself to someone else’s glory for some of these kids.

I know you said he was ready to compete for the job. What do you think his plans are? If he gets a fair shake and doesn’t win the job will he plan on staying or transferring in the Spring or wait and see until Fall camp rolls around? If we bring in a transfer does that change anything?
