Obviously I wish no harm to anyone or anyone's property, but I hope you see more "exciting" weather from this piece of crap storm than I did.

This storm is so weak that when I saw this thread I thought it was about Isaac Hayes.

RV and I really enjoyed this storm. We think the perfect hottub weather is when we get a slight drizzle to cool off the air but not enough to put out the fire in the chiminea or dilute the whiskey shots. Jelli yet?

I love sitting in a hot tub in a drizzle while on vacation at the beach, but I would become depressed if I lived at the beach. I need the mountains.

Ex-GF's parents lived in Myrtle Beach for a couple years and it was awful. I'm sure it's nicer living in FL, but I would kill myself if I had to live in Myrtle.

I know what you mean. I have to go back to Knoxville/Strawberry Plains every so often to get my mountain fix and regain my accent. I live out in the country here and it has a farm feel, like my old home in TN. I have to drive to get to a beach. The sucky thing down here is there are lakes every where, but you have no access to them unless you live on one. I miss Cherokee and Douglas lakes where you could just pull off on the side of the road and launch a boat.

Sumrall the town i live in is totally shut down. 6ft of water. I live 5 min from downtown. Got power back thank god, and they let us leave from work because it's gonna be one more bad band of rain come through. My road is flooded at many spots but my home is fine. Driveway is washed out a little, trees down is about all. NOTHING compared to katrina
