A new QB with no experience facing UT's defense in his 1st game. I like those odds for UT.

I'm not now that McCord is gone. If he was still there he would throw for 300+ on us. Syracuse was WAY better than NC St last year and it wasn't even debatable. Luckily, they will be breaking in a new QB. Just like nobody was worried about Arkansas last year, Mizzou the year before and S.Car the year before that. Or even GA and Ohio St last year, when the majority of our fan base was overly confident, for some reason. And we got boat raced both games. Point is, very rarely does our fans being overconfident end well for us. We aren't good enough to be confident over anybody.

I expect them to be a good test. I‘m sure we’ll be favored but it’s a real game vs playing UTC. Not sure if they will be like NCST or Pitt but we need to be ready to play. I do believe that if we play well, we win.
