Crap man, Me and my son were talking tonight about how the Titans tick us off for spending all that $$ on V. Young when they could have had Cutler. That's why I hate pro Fball....esp the Pacman, Young...Henry trading, Cutler passovering Titans....but that's another thread.

Are you serious.... Vince Young was worth all the money that he got and he will be the titans franchise quarterback for years to come... If the titans had a decent week in and week out running back and a half-way decent receiver than some pressure would be taken off vince and he would dominate... give him 2 more years... titans go to super bowl and young in MVP of league...

Cutler hasn't really done anyhing special... only reason broncos are winning right now is terrible defense..

Of course we all want pryor, but I have loved what i've seen of Crompton. I may not have as much inside looks at him as others, but i'm a fan of his.

He seems like he'll always play his @ss off no matter what and can make about any throw. He and Coleman will mature with some of our young speed maturing as well, and that could be beautiful.

"No doubt in my mind, we woulda won state if they would have put me in." :eek:lol:

You can thank the Titans defense for that score.

VY out played Cutler by a mile... with no help and about 20 drops. Cutler only had 200 yards passing and a lot of his stats were exaggerating due to Titans secondary not tackling and long TD passes that wouldn't have gone for more than 20 yards.

I'll take Young. Nearly 400 yards of total offense.. anyway this isn't an NFL thread... so no point in mentioning Cutler.

Crompton is our future. That kid has fire and I will go so far to say that he will win us a SEC crown before he leaves the Hill.

Crompton will be The Man. Bet on that

Not sure why, but I don't have a lot of faith in Crompton.

I'll tell you why. Because he couldn't beat out EA who in my opinion is a very average QB. Are you really comfortable with a QB leading this team who is thought of by his coaches to have less ability than EA?

Todd Helton started over Manning in 94. Was he the better QB? It's not always about ability

Not so sure Coleman is all that he is cracked up to be.... There is alot of buzz about him and hope it is not smoking guns...................He has the smarts......but maybe not the arm.........

Are you kidding? His arm strength is not a question mark.

Coleman has a better arm than Crompton. His arm strength will certainly not hold Coleman back.

Amazing how an average QB has broken a number of Peyton Manning's records. And, once he gets 35 more completions this season he will break another of Peyton's records. People who call Ainge an average QB are absolutely laughable.

Instead of "laughable" I'm starting to think "spoiled" is the better term. Even then, he's played hurt for most of the season and still performed well. As I recall, PM was even amazed at how well Ainge could throw with the pinky taped up.

Go EA... Go Vols!!

Crompton could be a very good college quarterback, but it won't be in the current system that we're running. It doesn't fit his style of play as a QB. If they get out of this retarded pass mode and run a realistic, pro style offense like they used to....you know....with playaction passes, throws down field, etc etc....then Crompton can be an ALL SEC type of guy, but if they don't, then he'll barely be above average.

It suits BJ Coleman perfectly and I wouldn't doubt that he challenges for the job if Crompton struggles.
