I'm trying my best not to get ahead of myself but hell man our future defense has chance to be downright nasty. It lines up like this for now:

2012-14 classes

DE-Vereen, Henderson, Latroy Lewis, Malik Brown(Everyone is sleeping on him), Jaylon Miller, Vickers

(My biggest concern in recruiting)DT- Jason Carr, Danny O'Brien

LB- Weatherd, Bynum, Bates, Bryant,

DBs- CBs: Rihayd Jones, Payne, Sutton, Foreman

S: Kelly Jr., McNeil, JRM, Lemond Johnson

Now as you can see we need more beef in the middle and more CBs and LBs.

But the potential/realistic guys we have a shot at on defense that I like are:

DT- Davonte Lambert

DE- DeWayne Hendrix

LB- Kevin Mouhoun

CB- Rashaan Gaulden

CB- Chris Lammons

S- Cortez McDowell

I'm in flux over Adoree Jackson and Clifton Garrett but anything is possible with this staff.

Not really high on Elliot Berry but we'll see where he fits. Also hope that Evan decides to play defense. Really like him at FS.

But as you can see we really need to recruit the trenches on defense but the secondary(the safeties in particular) should develop into a huge strength.

Poona, lambert, Sawyers, Barnett .. That would be my sole focus right now. DT play in the sec is the number one priority IMO

Yeah we need some good beef in the middle. Not just bodies either. That will really set this group off. I really like the potential LB class. It's one of the best of recent memory for UT.

no doubt, so if we can land a stud DL class, we should be good to go going forward. When we have the needed talent, I think we'll compete really well with our coaches at the helm
