Oops, sorry I forgot you aren't in TN.
Our state legislature has passed legislation that 3rd graders must pass a standized (TCAP) reading test. 60% of the 3rd graders failed the test.
Some are getting tutoring. Many are going to summer school.

Does that include spelling tests?
